Monopoly competing against each other

For decades McDonald’s and Burger King has been each others major competition. For example, when McDonald’s does something whether a new burger or marketing campaign, Burger King will come up with something more creative or more up to date to over raise the competition or vise versa. The latest battle is over the low-carb food since today, healthy is in. Being thin and fit is what everyone in America is striving. America is well known as being one of the fattest countries since many of them are always busy which means they eat out a lot. Since Americans eat out a lot they try to find a something that will filled them up but that does not have a great amount of calories. This is the reason why McDonald’s and Burger King have been trying to change their menu to fit the lives and needs of their consumers. They have been constantly keeping an eye on each other and now they have to compete against Subway. Subway has changed fast food by making low-fat foods more popular. Which helps explain why McDonald’s is now pushing premium salads, while Burger King offers low-fat baguettes. Subway is a major completion to both companies since they do not hide the calories that their sandwiches contain, for example, their posted from anywhere in the window where one can order their food to napkins unlike McDonald’s and Burger King who seems to hide the information to its consumer. I believe that from all the ads and campaigns Subway will be end up being on top when it comes to a healthy fast food restaurant.
